These curtains from the Modern Luxe kit are so sumptuous, they deserved some tender loving care with a few extra swatches.
Both heights come in 48 Image Spectra colours, and have a brass curtain rod.
For the separate curtain rod middle piece, you can choose either a single standalone version that has just the one brass swatch, or you can choose the override version, which adds the brass swatch to the original catalogue item. You can have both in the game at the same time, if you prefer.

It’s been several hundred years since I released some walls, so let’s get back into the swing of things with something nice and simple and elegant.
These new panels from the Modern Luxe kit were crying out for extra swatches to help make them more usable in more places. So here we are, two versions in Image Spectra. Version one has a dark accent, and version two is softer and with a slightly less shiny specular on the raised beading.

Made by request. A charming modern farmhouse home steps away from the heart of Sable Square, Temple Family Home is the ideal abode for a new and expanding family moving to Brindleton Bay. With 4 bedrooms, plenty of room to expand, as well as ample entertaining space indoors and out, this house offers everything your family could need for generations to come.
I used lots of cc for this build. I’ve created a spreadsheet with all the links you need.
Additionally, I’ve included my own cc in the download.
I have every build/buy pack and kit, up to the most recent Horse Ranch EP, and used a lot of them for this build. Anything missing can be replaced with whatever you have in your own game.

A couple of years ago I made a ceiling replacer to banish those cold, stark white ceilings from the game. Now we can paint ceilings using floor textures I decided to turn those replacer textures into floors and ceilings so you can choose between them on the fly.
I’ve split them into two packages. For some reason floor textures get larger and more blurry when applied to the ceiling, so to preserve the same look as my original ceiling replacer I had to create a separate package with different diffuse uv values. You can of course use either version on both ceiling and floor, whichever you think looks best. They’re labelled in the catalogue so you know which I think should be used where. They show up in the Masonry section of flooring.
It contains the same 8 concrete colours as my original replacer, plus one more. Shown in this shot on both ceiling and floor is ‘warm concrete 02’.
You can continue to use one of my ceiling replacers alongside this, so all ceilings in every lot you visit will use it. You can only have one replacer active at a time. Head over to the original post to choose between them and see the swatches.

I used the slatted wall from the Greenhouse Haven kit in my last build and thought it could do with some more colours. Then I realised I should really do the windows and doors to match. And then I remembered the gable end. And the roof. And the plain wall.
So here they are! They all come in the Image Spectra palette. The windows and doors have separate catalogue entries for the different types of glazing: clear, lattice (shown in screenshot), and mesh. That leads to lots of package files, so I’ve merged them together.
The roof looks funky. I can never get them right. They’re always too bright. It looks fine from inside, but you might want to avoid the lighter colours if you’re planning on taking screenshots of the outside. Or don’t, I’m not the boss of you.

Easily the best wall tiles we have in the game now, I’ve done a quick recolour of the Half Stripe Tile that came with Growing Together.
They come in Image Spectra and Dream Pop, and both with either bright white (BW) tiles or off-white (OW) tiles. The paint part of the wall has the same plain texture as came with the originals. I plan on adding the tiles to a bunch of other walls I’ve done in the past for a little more interest and choice. Watch this space!

Made by request. A cabin for two Sims: one a comedian with a love of film and programming, who enjoys collecting frogs and dreams of some day starting a family; the second his roommate, a doctor, who enjoys the finer things in life although he can little afford them. The house features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen diner, a snug living room, and an extensive basement currently used as part office, part games room, part workshop, part laundry, and part cluttered dumping ground. Though dated, the house is warm and inviting. Outside there are beautiful views of the lake in Granite Falls.

The only custom content used was my Shiftable Mirrors (which lets you move mirrors freely on the wall). If you don’t have that installed you might find any wall mirrors disappear. If that happens, you can simply replace them with whatever you like.

A small collection of items from High School Years in more colours than you can shake a stick at.
Included is the Fuzzy Chair (left), the Beanbag Chair (middle), and the Crystal Coffee Table (right).
Each comes in Image Spectra and Dream Pop. The Crystal Coffee Table also has a version 1 and version 2. I couldn’t decide on which table top I liked the best, so I did all the swatches in both of them (more details on the download page).

These are my favourite ceiling lights, they’re just so cool. Again we find ourselves asking why on earth it took this long to recolour them.
They come in Image Spectra and Dream Pop, in all 3 lengths.
Thing about this light is it doesn’t illuminate from above, so the colours always look dark. It’s fine in this shot above because the sun was shining directly on it, but in any other lighting, and at night, so so dark. A handy thing I found was to take the small saucer ceiling light, size it down once with the bracket key, and hide it in the ceiling fastening for this light. You can adjust both lights to suit (so the room doesn’t get too bright), and it helps illuminate the industrial light so you can see those lovely colours!

Why did I wait so long to recolour this rug? Who knows?
Actually I know. Recolouring the Comfortably Plush rug years ago was a pain in the bum because the way I recolour didn’t mesh well with how Maxis had done the soft fluffy edges of the rug and I ended up having to hand paint all the fuzzy bits and I’m sure there was an easier way but I didn’t know what it was and the whole experience left me bitter, twisted, and scarred. I assumed this rug would be the same. I was wrong. This was quick and easy to do. So I did it.
Comes in both Image Spectra and Dream Pop, and requires the Industrial Loft kit. Enjoy!

Something a bit different from me today. I don’t often do CAS stuff, but I like having lots of glasses to choose from in lots of different colours, and I’m quite fond at the moment of big cartoonish glasses too.
I’ve recoloured the large, round glasses from Movie Hangout. They come in both Image Spectra and Dream Pop, and each has a clear option and a shades option.
You can use this glasses slider by Iconic to get the perfect placement for all glasses on all face shapes.
(Fun fact of the day: the Sims in the preview are Audrey Boomer and Billy Price, the very first Sims I ever made with the TS4 CAS demo before the game was released!)

It hit me like a bolt out of the blue yesterday that I hadn’t recoloured the carpet from the Pastel Pop kit yet. Me? Not recolour some floors? Surely not?!
So here it is. In Image Spectra and Dream Pop, and each with two versions. The main version has a more dynamic tone to the pile, seen better in some swatches than others. The alt version has a flatter, more monochrome tone to all swatches. I prefer the main version, but I included both because choices.

This old, run-down motel and diner-bar is slowly being given a new lease of life. The new manager, who is said to hail from an old mill town, has brought her favourite fry cook with her, who lives out back in a trailer. Come stay at Mesquite Motel! (Perhaps avoid the top floor though…)
—
Mesquite Motel is set as a bar, but can be used as a diner/restaurant or a residential lot. It’s ideal for storytellers (especially those who like werewolves or anything noir). There are 6 motel rooms to explore, a reception, and an apartment for the manager, as well as the diner-bar and kitchen. The kitchen has two stove units depending on how you want to use it. The drive-thru stove is blocked off so your chefs should use the other, but you can block that off if you’d prefer them to use the drive-thru.

The Sims 4 suffers from very strong blue shadows in a lot of worlds, and generally has a blue or teal-green haze cast across the screen. This means things that should be white are blue or teal, greys have a blue tone to them, and shadows look out of place. I’ve generally tried to counteract this and make things more neutral in most of my presets, but it’s annoying to have to do it each time from scratch, and I’ve never found a really good method that still preserves everything else that happens to be coloured blue.
Until now!
Foundation at its core is a simple multilut that removes the blue/green haze and neutralises shadows and things that should be neutral to begin with. It doesn’t alter any other colours or contrast so menus stay usable and clear. The result is a game that looks exactly like the Sims game you know and love, but more balanced.
You can see an album of example screenshots here, including lots of splitscreen comparisons showcasing what the multilut does: https://imgur.com/a/Ic271u1
